Knitting Top Down
Making a garment starting from the top has all of the advantages. There is no sewing up at the end and most importantly you can try it on as you go to make sure it fits. Because of this you can make adjustments as you go and you end up with a garment that fits you perfectly!

Our Knitting top down course will give you the skills to knit your first top-down project using a pattern, opening up a whole world of patterns that are knit in the round.

This project is very beginner friendly and a great introduction to knitting in the round. However, to take part you will need to know the basics of knitting.

What do you need to bring with you?
Your pattern (which we will provide ahead of time), yarn, a measuring tape, stitch markers and a pen.

When is it being held?
The course will consist of an hour and a half class for 6 weeks.

Classes will take place at Five Woodbine Park, two doors up from our shop.

Booking a place on one of our classes is similar to booking a seat at the theatre. It is not possible to swap and cancel. Therefore should you need to cancel your place on a course for any reason we will need to charge a cancellation fee of €20. Sometimes courses are over subscribed so we hold a waiting list and MAY be able to re-fill a place, but if you are unable to attend you are welcome to send someone in your place. Please let us know your replacement's name, phone number and email address as soon as possible before the course date.
