Sommières clay is a fantastic dry stain remover, leaving no ring on grease stains (oils, butter, makeup, diesel fuel, etc.) from carpets, leather, marble, parquet floors, and concrete, as well as delicate surfaces such as textiles (even silk). It absorbs 80% of its weight and also neutralizes many other types of stains, such as urine on cushions or wine stains on tablecloths.
This extra-fine natural clay (100% natural origin) was discovered in the village of Sommières near Montpellier in the 19th century. Extracted from quarries in the Mediterranean basin, it is untreated, unrefined, and non-toxic to the environment.
