ONION Nettle Sock Yarn (Superwash) is a new idea in sock yarn. Conventional sock yarn contains synthetic fibers to secure the durability. In ONION Nettle Sock Yarn the synthetic fibers are replaced with nettle fibers, making it possible to knit durable socks in pure natural fibers. ONION Nettle Sock Yarn is pure pampering for your feet!

ONION Nettle Sock Yarn is a natural alternative to conventional sock yarn. Whereas traditional sock yarn typically consists of 75% wool and 25% polyamide, here the polyamide is replaced with nettle fibres. Nettle fibres provide the yarn with natural durability and breathability.

To ensure additional strength in high-wear areas such as heel and toe, a reinforcing sewing thread together with the yarn in these areas is recommended.
